While this is Turnbull’s first novel-length work, his short fiction has appeared across the web and in literary magazines such as Asimov’s Science Fiction and Lightspeed. His work has also been included in The Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy 2018 and Year’s Best Science Fiction and Fantasy 2019.
Another jointly written series by Kendra Elliot and Melinda Leigh. This novella series is fantastic and the quick reads were so enjoyable and well written.
SealedA rather timely horror novel, Sealed by Naomi Booth is set in a world in fear of an epidemic, the knowledge of which is suppressed in a country whose government seems to be sliding into a dystopian landscape. Reading this during the beginnings of the Coronavirus outbreak and around the time of the massive fires in Australia provided a rather morbid ambiance, one that hits a little too close to reality was a very unique experience.
Seconds to LiveMelinda Leigh did us all a favor with this series, she kept it to the Barrett family, giving us three books, focusing on each living sibling. In this installment we meet Mac Barrett the youngest and perhaps wildest of his siblings.
